Best Breakfast EVER!
Bottom layer: cold oatmeal (made the night before and left in the fridge), next layer: banana and apple chunks, top layer: chocolate whip yogurt.
Fall Food
Pumpkin soup (one can of pumpkin, approximately 2 cans of milk and 1 can of half-half, dash of salt, some pepper, and the secrete ingredient of crushed red peppers). Homemade cracker-biscuit breads (not totally sure what to call them) they are a basic baking soda bread type ingredient but I added oregano and basil and some thyme to make them herby.
Cold Weather Blues Food
All you need to beat a sniffly nose and the cold weather blues: Red lentils with spinach (cumin and lemon juice are the key to success with this dish), some olives and tomatoes, cucumbers, toast, apple slices and emergen-c.
Hearty Meal
Chicken pan fried with salt, pepper, lemon pepper, soy sauce, lemon juice and a little bit of wine. Lasagna noodles broken up, cooked, and lightly fried in butter. All of that with some corn.
Carbs, Protein, Veggies = All Set
Chicken pot stickers with butternut squash pasta (can you tell it's one of my favorites from TJ's), all of this accompanied by a healthy veggie saute of spinach, carrots, tomatoes and peppers.
Pizza
Fancy Salmon
Ice cream...You Scream...Everybody Scream
Home made ice cream!!! (left to right) Early-gray tea ice-cream, strawberry w/strawberry chunks ice-cream, and mango w/mango chunks ice cream.
